Really Home Made Smoothie.
Last monday we finally got a freezer box, and I had already decided days ahead that the first thing I was gonna do, was freeze my own smoothie-fruit.
So on Wednesday I cut up a lot of fruit (3 different types of melon, apples white and yellow peaches, grapes (didn’t cut them up, but I did single them out) kiwi, banana…) and put them into zip lock bags. It took me 30 minutes with a baby on my arm, on and off =)
Today when we wanted a smoothie, we got one portion zip lock bag out, added apple juice and some citrus juice, and mixed it up. And it was MY perfect selection for the day. (And I still have 14 bags left in the freezer!)
Next time I might want plums and passion fruit in the mix. Or lychee. Or strawberries… Or Papaya and guava…
I dont use yoghurt in my smoothies, unless I’m making a dessert smoothie.
We enjoy the fruit on its own with pure juices and nectars, with no sugar or additional colors or preservatives.
Enjoy!

At 99 days old, and he is finally able to focus on more than just the bath and the babbling, the huge grin AND on keeping the mouth above water…
Now he can even play with his little squirties…
I dont have to hold him in the tub. He has held himself up for the last month
(since he was 2 monhts old) <3
